Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at High Pointe is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives and how they can become disciples for Christ RIGHT NOW. We believe our kids are the church of today, NOT the church of tomorrow.

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly greeters will show you where our Kids Check-In is when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

We are not a church that prioritizes adult ministry over children's ministry. We believe that in HP Kids, we are more than just babysitters. In fact, we do NOT believe that we are babysitters. Why? Because there is something more important at stake here: relationship with Jesus. Our leaders have an important role to play as they guide children to a relationship with our King. More than that, we know that our children have the ability to change the world for the Kingdom right where God has them.....as kids leading others to Jesus! We will never belittle the impact that our children can have as disciples from a young age. We value the gifts God has given our kids, and it includes the gift to share the Gospel from a young age. The safety of your children is very important to us.  It is our mission to make children and parents feel secure in our learning environments so the Gospel can be the primary focus. All volunteer leaders have been put through a series of pre-screenings and background checks, as well as periodic trainings. When dropping your kids off in any of our age-level classrooms you will receive a matching sticker corresponding with the tag your child will be wearing.  You will need this tag to pick up your child when you return.  Thank you for helping us keep all HP kids safe! AWANA is an acronym from 2 Timothy 2:15 Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed. Awana is a fun approach to making the Bible alive and relevant with caring trained leaders who invest time, love, and wisdom into shaping children's lives. While kids are having fun together each Wednesday night, they're learning about Jesus and growing in their faith in Him too. They learn Bible verses and spiritual truths. They encounter life lessons that feed their soul. They participate in games and activities that train their bodies.
