Tim grew up in a Christian home and gave his life to Christ at the age of 6. However, it was his father's death when he was 10 years old that really challenged him to fully trust God with all things and ultimately led to a call to ministry later in life.
Tim graduated from Eastern Nazarene College and then Nazarene Theological Seminary and was honored to plant BridgeWay Community Church in Rockford, MI and led it for 9 years. He then served at Ada Bible Church for four years as Director of Spiritual Formation.
Tim and his wife Mary just celebrated 23 years of marriage and are raising 4 great kids: Gabi, Isaac, Sam and Sophie.
Tim's hobbies include golf, skiing, running, games with the kids (Euchre, Settlers, Puerto Rico, Hearts, etc.), pretty much every sport and hiking mountains (when possible). He loves Scripture and enjoys relearning what it means to be a child of God living in a world that is increasingly hostile to the Church. It is his life goal to bridge to the lost and hurting and point them to Christ, who loves all without hesitation.
Ben was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area. He gave his life to Christ as a teenager and since then has pursued God's call on his life to pastor His people.
Ben attended Cornerstone University for Intercultural Studies and Bible (May 2013) and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary for his Master of Divinity (Pastoral Emphasis, May 2018). Throughout his seminary experience, Ben had the opportunity to serve as the youth pastor where he came to Christ at Bella Vista Church in Rockford, Michigan.
In June 2014, Ben married his best friend Lauren, and have loved geting to know one another better each day! While they do not have kids yet, they are looking forward to getting a new puppy sometime soon.
On his down time, Ben loves to run (sort of...), play most board games and sports, sing, and jam on his guitar. He also enjoys watching a good movie and having deep conversations. He is passionate about seeing the Church recapture what it means to make and be disciples, as well as creating a safe place for the marginalized to find and meet Jesus.
Kelly joined the High Pointe team in April 2016 and brings energy and joy to the office each day. She oversees the daily operations of the church and facilities, all while assisting the pastors. This job allows her to combine her skills of organization with her passion for helping others and serving people. She considers it a privilege to work and serve the people of High Pointe.
Married to Jeff since 1991, they have three kids and are very proud of the individuals that they are becoming. The Doolittle family has lived in Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas and Michigan.
Kelly's life is centered around her family. She enjoys vacations, walking, shopping and great friends!
Kristen joined the High Pointe team in April 2016 and helps in the office with daily operations. Kristen is also a part of the Worship Team.
Kristen was raised in both Michigan and Florida and is a Gator fan. She's been married to her husband, Bob, for 16 years they have two daughters: Emily and Chloe.
Life is centered around family, sports activities and time together. She enjoys running and biking.
